Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Inventors Association (RMIA) website.

The RMIA, formed in 1978 as the Rocky Mountain Inventors Congress, is a non-profit corporation dedicated to helping people with new ideas achieve their greatest potential.

Members include novice and successful inventors and entrepreneurs as well as prototypers, manufacturers, packagers, marketers, patent attorneys, and others interested in the business of inventing and bringing products to market. Our programs include networking sessions, monthly educational meetings, discussion roundtables, and an annual conference.

We hope you find this site useful. We are always looking for ways to improve this site and any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

RMIA Inventor's Sucess Stories!

This has been a good year for a couple of our local inventor's. Melanie Romero, inventor of the Snap! Bagger, leaf bagger debuted her product on the Home Shopping Network with great success. She appeared four times in two weeks and is set to appear again next month. You can check out her video at hsn.com.

Liz Mrofka, inventor of the Fobbie, Gift Wrapping in a Cinch! won the Best New Product Award at the National Stationary Show. With that success has come negotiations for product licensing and distribution in large retail outlets.

Family membership - $125.00 per year (membership lasts 12 calendar months from the month you joined)
Student membership -$ 62.50 per year (one individual)
Corporate membership - $250.00 per year (up to 4 individuals)

Besides meeting discounts, members receive discounts on books and audio tapes and discounted rates for RMIA conferences, classes and special events. You will also have access to our "members only" area which includes our membership directory, archives of meeting presentations and information and links to companies looking for new products.
